In 1964, the St. Stephen’s CSI Hospital Mundiappally was inaugurated by Rev. Cecil Hargreaves the then East-Asia Secretary of Church Mission Society (CMS). Rev. P.D. John was the pastor of our church. The hospital started functioning under the leadership of Dr. V.G. Koshy and Dr. Thankamma Koshy. The hospital was at first managed by the Diocese. Later our church managed the hospital on rental basis for a few years. Presently it is rented out to private parties.
